Venus’ Song

At last, Venus found herself beside the moon,

finding it impossible to not look up.

So, you decided to open up your heart, he said -

his radiant glow blinding

as he beckoned her forth.

Sometimes, you just know, she replied -

weary from lifetimes of interstellar debris -

and sealed her words with a kiss.
